Programme Overview
Training Description
The Organic Farming Practices Training Course provides participants with practical knowledge and skills for developing productive, sustainable, and environmentally responsible organic farming systems. The course explores the principles of organic agriculture and demonstrates how farmers can reduce reliance on synthetic chemicals while maintaining soil fertility, crop productivity, farm profitability, and long-term environmental health.Through practical exercises, case studies, demonstrations, and group discussions, participants will learn how to plan and manage organic farms, identify appropriate inputs and production techniques, prevent and manage common crop pests and diseases, and improve resource efficiency. Attention is also given to post-harvest handling, organic certification requirements, traceability, quality control, market access, and value addition.
