Programme Overview
Training Description
Session Objectives
- Understand the principles of regenerative agriculture. Learn techniques for building soil organic matter. Explore methods for restoring degraded soil biodiversity. Design regenerative cropping systems. Implement regenerative grazing practices. Integrate agroforestry into regenerative systems. Evaluate the impact of regenerative agriculture on climate change. Promote the economic benefits of regenerative agriculture.
About the Course
The Regenerative Agriculture, Soil Health and Sustainable Farming Training Course provides participants with practical knowledge and skills for developing agricultural systems that restore soil health, improve biodiversity, enhance farm resilience, and support sustainable food production. The course explores regenerative approaches that work with natural ecological processes while improving the long-term productivity and sustainability of agricultural land.
The course also explores the relationship between soil health, water management, carbon sequestration, climate resilience, ecosystem services, and agricultural productivity. Participants will learn how to assess soil and farm conditions, identify opportunities for regeneration, select appropriate practices, and develop practical strategies for transitioning from conventional to more regenerative farming systems. The training emphasizes practical approaches that can help farmers and agricultural organizations improve soil fertility, water retention, biodiversity, climate resilience, farm productivity, resource efficiency, and long-term economic sustainability.
