About the Course
Accurate valuation is at the heart of successful securitization transactions, enabling investors, issuers, and financial institutions to assess the true value, risk, and performance of structured financial products. The Understanding Securitization Valuation: Structures, Models and Applications Training Course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the valuation principles, analytical models, and practical applications used to assess securitized assets across today's capital markets.
The course examines a wide range of valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, yield-based valuation, option-adjusted spread (OAS) analysis, scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and risk-adjusted pricing techniques. Participants will gain practical experience in evaluating tranche structures, forecasting cash flows, assessing prepayment and default risks, and interpreting market pricing signals to support investment and financing decisions.
By the end of this training course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to apply securitization valuation techniques, evaluate complex structured finance transactions, manage valuation risks, and support strategic investment, lending, and risk management decisions.
