- • Implement Monitoring and Evaluation Plans: Acquire the skills to execute M&E plans and systems, ensuring continuous tracking of project progress, outputs, and outcomes.
- • Evaluate Project Impact: Learn to assess the short- and long-term impacts of projects on beneficiaries and communities, and interpret results to inform future projects and policies.
- • Report and Communicate M&E Results: Master the skills required to effectively communicate M&E findings to stakeholders, donors, and decision-makers through reports, presentations, and other documentation.
- • Ensure Accountability and Learning: Learn the importance of accountability in M&E and how to use evaluation findings for organizational learning and improving project implementation strategies.
About the Course
Effective Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) enables organisations to determine whether projects are being implemented as planned, whether resources are being used efficiently, and whether intended outputs, outcomes, and impacts are being achieved. The course provides participants with practical tools for developing M&E frameworks, indicators, data collection systems, performance measurement approaches, evaluation designs, and evidence-based reporting.
Participants will learn how to establish results-based M&E systems, develop logical frameworks and theories of change, formulate SMART indicators, collect and analyse reliable data, track project performance, evaluate outcomes and impacts, and use findings to improve project decision-making.
