About the Course

Empower communities to lead their own risk reduction strategies. This practical training equips facilitators with the tools to conduct participatory Vulnerability and Capacity Assessments (VCA) and design tailored Community Disaster Risk Reduction (CDRR) Plans.

By tapping into local knowledge and existing institutions, participants learn to build sustainable, culturally relevant preparedness strategies against common hazards such as floods, fires, and droughts. Attendees will emerge with the skills to foster true grassroots resilience, helping communities become self-reliant and proactive before, during, and after emergencies.
